Appreciated a comfortable stay with peaceful and absolutely perfect location close to a boat stop and a breakfast included. The breakfast was delicious with lots of OUTSTANDING options. Location: the hotel was close to convenient store and the Old Town and tourist areas. Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like Chubby Papaya that was only 5 minutes' walk away.
Nothing negative to say.

The rooms at Kanvela House were cozy and comfortable with premium bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. The air conditioning kept the room cool, making it perfect to escape the Bangkok heat. The shared bathroom was clean and equipped with a shower and complimentary toiletries, providing everything I needed.
Subjectively, I found the shared bathroom to be a minor inconvenience, but I understand that others may not mind it and still enjoy their stay.

The hotel itself had a beautiful and eclectic decoration. The restaurant offered a delicious breakfast with fluffy scrambled eggs, artisan bread, and coffee. The facilities were clean and cozy, and the bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing a perfect retreat from the busier parts of the city. the hotel had two friendly cats, which were a nice bonus.
The staff lacked local knowledge when it came to recommending local food options. However, there was a large market with food stands just a few hundred meters away.

The room at Kanvela House was cozy and comfortable, with premium bedding that made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud. The air conditioning provided a cool haven from the Bangkok heat, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom a bit inconvenient. However, I understand that others may appreciate the opportunity to interact with fellow guests in this communal space.

The rooms at Kanvela House were absolutely cozy and comfortable. The beds had premium bedding that made it easy for me to have a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot weather in Bangkok. And having access to shared bathrooms was convenient.
While the shared bathroom was clean and well-equipped, I personally would have preferred having a private bathroom.

The rooms at Kanvela House are cozy and comfortable, with premium bedding that ensures a good night's sleep. I loved the air conditioning in the rooms, which kept the temperature just right for a restful stay. The shared bathrooms are well-maintained and equipped with everything you need, including complimentary toiletries. It was convenient to have amenities like a clothes rack, locker, and towels provided in the room. As a bike rider, I appreciated having access to shared bathrooms and the option to store my bike securely.
Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom instead of a shared one. However, I understand that others may not mind it and still enjoy their stay.

The hotel's decoration at Kanvela House was simply charming. The vintage furniture and cozy ambiance made me feel right at home. The common areas were perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The hallways and stairs were well-lit, and there were handrails available for support. It made navigating the hotel much easier for me.
If there was one thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people, it would be more assistance from the staff. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, having some assistance with carrying luggage or showing us to our room would have been greatly appreciated.

We recently stayed at Kanvela House and had a fantastic experience. the dormitory was spacious and comfortable, with both air conditioning and a fan. the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, with options like scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, croissant, and fresh fruits. the ground floor coffee house had a wonderful Thai vintage design and served great coffee. the location, although about 40 minutes away from the center by foot, was conveniently close to a boat stop, allowing us to easily reach popular areas like Khao San Road and Chayo Phraya. the walk along the river to the boat stop was also quite pleasant. there were several 7-eleven supermarkets nearby, adding to the convenience of our stay. Kanvela House exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Bangkok.
Nothing, all excellent. 👍
